Generations: Urban Arts Festival is an urban art celebration for art and music lovers of all ages. In an effort to inspire young artists to share their passion in the arts the festival will have interactive workshops hosted by performers who have been successful doing what they love. Dino Mayorga, an artist and dancer, will hold an “Express Yourself” art jam session. Dino will also be joining Pandora, from the movie Step Up 3D, and Easy Roc, of Rock Steady Crew, in an exclusive urban dance workshop; while graffiti artist Meex contributes live graffiti art on canvas. This year NASA Crew will have graffiti art on display for all to view. Zaire Black will be returning to MC the event which also features dj "wHat?!", DJ Epsiode, Soluz, Michelle Q, Renzo, Beneficial, and Evil-O. Between DJ sets are dance battles, beat box battles, student performances, and a recycled art contest. MC’s Kic & Jerrico take the stage before Rakaa & Babu close the event! This educational hip-hop celebration is free to the public and eco-friendly.
