This past Monday, the Generations Summer Workshops started off strong with some awesome Special Guests, and a good turnout. Students from various Community Centers around the city, and the general public showed up excited to join in on the fun. The day started off with the very talented Tasha Mintzer arriving in her mobile work of art, The Art Cart.
Her innovative VW Van-turned-Canvas on Wheels, attracted all sorts of attention from everyone in the surrounding area. Tasha led the participants in an art project which highlighted their hopes and dreams through the creation of personalized clear stone magnets.
Everyone had a blast, and our thanks go out to Tasha for coming out to share her love of art with us. You are a big part of why our kick-off event was a success!
Thank You Tasha!
